The Llama

There she/he was…just quietly chomping on grass, in the early morning mountain mist…I didn’t remember seeing a llama before in person. So naturally, just at the right time I raised the camera to my eye, her/his head popped up and stared right at me. I feel like we made a connection…

Llamas are like fluffy mini-girafes, which is a pretty awesome thing to be. I read up on the difference between Llamas and Alpacas so I didn’t sound unintelligible here. Apparently, Llamas have larger ears and a less-smushed face. They are usually more independent than Alpacas that tend to stay in herds.

Fun fact for the day 🙂 – more photos here!
